This time, I sum up the book “Capital in Twenty-First Century”

First I intended to write same introductions before I comment on a Piketty’s book “Capital in Twenty-First Century”
But I touched main disputes of Piketty much, so I will finish this serialization next time.

Things that I learned from this book

A:  the mechanism of current expanding disparity.
The profit-earning ratio (4-5%) of a capital exceeds the growth rate (= economic growth rate 1-2%) of labor income, and the proportion of a capital (estate) in national capital keeps increasing.

Population continuing to decrease will ensure low growth in future.
The profit-earning ratio of a capital rises by mass money supply (monetary easing), but the decrease does not occur almost.
These two phenomenons have happened practically, but may not have been proved.
Furthermore, the concentrating assets gain additional acceleration more and more without being spent.

B: Much in national capital tends to concentrate on certain wealthy class and be increased.

By the factor mentioned in above and the increase of arbitrary high income, like the graph 1, the share of top 10% owns 63-72% of the total wealth in Europe and America and continue rising.

And also world wealth tends to concentrate on only very few wealthy class.
This is reality of the disparity, and the mechanism permeates among the world.

C:  There is certain time when the disparity reduced.
Like graph 1, it was during 1910 and 1970.
This was affected by the War and the high economic growth, but the enforcement of certain progressive income tax was effective most.
In other words, Britain and the United States carried out the innovative policy, played a leading role in the world, and a lot of country of the world followed it.
Right, it was a reverse pattern in the present.

D:  The national capital of the developed country became 4 – 6 times of GDP, and tends to expand more.
In during this half a century, the home equity of the Britain, the United States and France came to occupy 40-60% of the nation capital, and the people became rich more.
But the higher income class is, the lower a ratio of their home equity will become.

If there is such a large wealth, it isn't necessary to postpone canceling our financial deficit.
In other words, the government collects a property tax from wealthy class, stops to an indirect tax that directly hits lower-income class, and the deficit and disparity are canceled.

E: I could have self-confidence for talking on this disparity.
In past days, I had a little doubt that the person that represented the disparity might have prejudice.
However, I enriched my understanding about the disparity by knowing the political background and the historical change of the wage, a capital and the disparity.

On the next time, I write miscellaneous thoughts and this serialization is the last.
