中東に平和を！ ４６： 今、思うこと ２

I looked at the absurdity of the Middle East last time.
From now on, I will look at negative side of the human family inviting the absurdity.
前回、中東の不条理をみました。
今後は、この不条理を招く人類の負の側面を見て行きます。

＜ ２． パレスチナでのユダヤ移民の初期農業 ＞
The unintelligible absurdity
For example, would you image an economic competition between Jewish immigrants and indigenous Arab ?
The Jew bought land with much money, and surpassed indigenous Arab with richer investment capital and sophistication.
Do you think that it was a free competition and wasn't a colonial rule?
If you think so, would you image a situation that immigrant group freely came in your neighborhood, buys up the land in large quantities, and does self-indulgently ?
Naturally your nation should establish a law and stop the action.
However, many indigenous groups couldn't take this countermeasure.
One of the Palestinian tragedy is that the Jew having their own country could make a law freely, in contrast, the Arab had not their own country.
For example, the Jew admitted the Arab's right to vote, but, did not allow the Arab to found their political party.
The Jew was very clever.
There is much mechanism producing such absurdity.
However, the world can't well deal with these yet.
I will investigate problems common to all humankind that drove the Middle East into the miserable situation from now on.
見え難い不条理
例えば、パレスチナでのユダヤ人入植者と先住のアラブ人の経済競争を考えましょう。
ユダヤ人は金に飽かして土地を買い、さらに豊かな投資資本と高度な知識をもって、先住者を凌駕する。
皆さんは、これは自由競争であって、植民地支配じゃないと思いますか。
そう思われる方は、現実にあなたの近くに移住者が自由に入って来て、土地などを大量に買い占め好き放題にする状況を想定してください。
当然、国として法を定め対抗手段を取ることになる。
ところが、多くの先住集団はこの対抗手段が取れないのです。
パレスチナの悲劇の一つは、アラブ人には国が無く、国を持ったユダヤ人は都合の良いように法律を作ることが出来たことにあります。
例えばアラブ人に選挙権を認めても政党を作らせないとか。
実に巧です。
このような不条理を生むメカニズムは多々あります。
しかし、世界はこれらにまだうまく対処出来ていない。
これから中東を悲惨な状況に追い込んだ人類共通の問題点を見て行きたい。

1. About the relation between religion and law
We look at the relation between religion and law by means of comparing the birth of the world religions.
In the Islamic world, the all laws have evolved from the Koran.
Observing the Arab world from the outside, we may feel it a cause that has depressed the Middle East and has interrupted the modernization.
Therefore, through a comparison with the birth of the world religions, we get to know why the Islam had taken the legal system being different from others.
From there, we can understand a role of law.
2. About the birth of a terrorist
We previously saw the situation that terrorism of radical extremist was caused by intensified struggles in the Middle East.
This time, we spotlight an individual and investigate the relations of the terrorism outbreak between European society.
From there, we can know that discrimination and persecution might make people radical, and become a terrorist.
3. Why does religious persecution occur ?
In the Middle East, the opposition between pagans and denominations became tinderbox.
A problem of the Palestine was caused by the opposition between the Jew and Muslim, but there was the persecution of the Jewish people by the Christian first.
We look at why Christian came to persecute the Jew.
However, this is a phenomenon to be seen in every religions widely.
4. About some factors to exhaust the society, and to embroil it in devastating fighting.
There were the effect of a colony and the Cold War in the factors of the problems of the Middle East.
Damage and aftereffects that these two gave human family are serious, but reality people don't recognize it so much.
The reason that people aren't conscious of that much is because that the most of the cases were started on as national interest protection or defensive measure in an unknown area when a country gets involved in it.
These four themes formed negative side of the world history more or less.
Our peaceful society depends on how we deal with these factors.

今後、取り扱う予定のテーマ
１．宗教と法の関わりについて
ここでは、代表的な世界宗教の誕生を比較しながら、宗教と法の関わりを見ます。
イスラム世界ではすべての法律がコーランから発しています。
アラブの外から見れば、これが中東の近代化を阻害し停滞させている一因に見えるかもしれません。
そこで、幾つかの世界宗教の誕生と比較して、なぜイスラム教は他と異なる法制度を取るようにようになったかを見ます。
そこから法の役割が見えて来ます。
２．テロリストの誕生について
今まで中東内部の抗争激化から過激派のテロが生まれる状況を見て来ました。
今度は、個人にスポットを当て、欧州社会とテロ発生の関係を見つめます。
そこから差別と迫害が、人々を先鋭化させテロに走らせる可能性が見えて来ます。
３．なぜ宗教は迫害を生むのか
中東において、異教徒間や宗派間の対立は紛争の火種になっていました。
パレスチナ問題はユダヤ教徒とイスラム教徒との対立ですが、その前にキリスト教徒によるユダヤ教徒の迫害がありました。
ここでは、キリスト教徒がなぜユダヤ教徒を迫害するようになったかを見て行きます。
しかし、これは特定の宗教に限ったことではなく、広く宗教全般に見られる現象です。

４．社会を疲弊させたり、紛争に巻き込む要因について
中東問題の要因に植民地と冷戦の影響がありました。
この二つが人類に与えた被害と後遺症は甚大なのですが、一般にはそれほど認識されていないのが現実です。
これがそれほど意識されない理由は、国がこれに手を染める時、多くは国益保護や防衛手段として始め、また多くの国民にとって見知らぬ地域で行われたからです。
これら４つのテーマは、大なり小なり世界史の負の側面を形作って来ました。
人類が如何にこの要因に対処するかで、平和な社会の到来が決まるでしょう
