What I feel about the Middle East now.

I traveled in Egypt and Turkey for 13 days five years ago.

And so, I had a good feeling about the Muslim’s behavior in Turkey, on the other hand, I was disappointed at the social stagnation in Cairo.

However, I was attracted to the personality of the each local guide in the two countries.

I visited Bosnia and Herzegovina half a year ago.

And I knew the misery of Muslim who received ethnic cleansing.

I visited Casablanca half a month ago and the citizen were seen being bursting with vitality and resting together with family in the holiday.

I visited the Moslem countries and felt that Islam isn’t the root of the evil.

私が今感じていること

５年前、エジプトとトルコを１３日間旅行し、トルコではイスラム教徒の立ち振る舞いに好感を持ち、カイロでは社会の低迷ぶりに失望した。

しかし、一方で私は両国の現地ガイドの人柄が惹かれた。

半年前にボスニア・ヘルツゴビナを訪れ、民族浄化を受けたイスラム教徒の悲惨さを知った。

半月前にカサブランカを訪れ、活気に溢れ、休日に家族で憩う市民の姿を見た。

私はイスラムの国々を訪問し、イスラム教が災いの根源では無いと感じた。

Purpose of this serialization

Most of the Middle East is the countries of Arab and Muslim, and in desert.

For Japanese people, the culture and religion of this area are heterogeneous, furthermore there is not almost the opportunity to know the history, and therefore we are hard to understand it.

As for books about the dispute of the Middle East and Islam, there are things being going to remove the misunderstanding of it and a lot of things inciting uneasiness, and rather the influence by the latter is bigger.

Furthermore, it is difficult for us to know the truth if large countries having interests in it control the information.

The people must be stimulated by the most recent miserable news.

By enriching our understanding about the dispute and confusion of the Middle East, I want to help to remove the prejudice and misunderstanding against the Middle East.

この連載の目的

中東の多くは、イスラム教徒であるアラブ人の国で砂漠です。

日本人にとっては、この地の文化や宗教は異質であり、ましてその歴史を知る機会は無く、理解し難い。

巷に溢れる中東の紛争やイスラムの本には、誤解を解こうとするものもあるが、不安を煽るものも少なくなく、むしろこの影響の方が大きい。

さらに、利害がからむ大国が情報操作しているとしたら、我々が真実を知ることは難しい。

どうしても、人々は直近の悲惨なニュースに刺激されてしまいます。

私は、中東の混乱と紛争への理解を深め、偏見と誤解を取り除く手助けをしたい。

The people of the world live a life with faith every day.

On the other hand, it often caused disaster.

Therefore we want to enrich our understanding about Islam by comparing it with other religion.

世界中の人々は日々、信仰と共に暮らしています。

これまで宗教は人類社会に多大な貢献をして来ました。

一方で災いを招くこともありました。

そこで、他の宗教と比べながらイスラム教への理解を深めます。

Reality and background of the dispute of the Middle East

I introduce the scene of the dispute of the Middle East, and I introduce the difficult situations and opinions of people living there.

In addition, I will approach the refugees, suicide bombing, and Islamic extremists.

I chase these disputes of Syria, Iraq, and Palestine mainly.

By the pursuit of the history of Middle Eastern countries for 1-2 centuries, I prove the cause and background of these disputes.

In addition, by comparing it with representative dispute and social stagnation of the world, the problem that keeps happening in the Middle East will become clear.

This continues to the next time.

中東の紛争の現実と背景

中東紛争の現場と、そこに暮らす人々の苦境や意見を紹介します。

また難民や自爆テロ、イスラム過激派にも迫ります。

主にシリア、イラク、パレスチナなどの紛争を追います。

主に、ここ１～２世紀の中東諸国の歴史を追い、紛争の原因と背景を探ります。

また、世界の代表的な紛争や社会停滞と比較することにより、中東で起きている問題点が明確になるでしょう。

地中海とカナリア諸島クルーズ　２：　ミラノ　１

I introduce the point of this tour and Milan.

今回参加したツアーとミラノを紹介します。

About this tour

The name of this tour is “Taking a cruise trip to Canary Islands of eternal spring, paradise in the Atlantic, the Mediterranean Sea, and visiting five countries for 15 days”

I decided to this trip because cost performance ratio of it is the best.

MSC Cruises that we used is for the public and lower cost, and is based in Italy for the cruise of the Mediterranean Sea.

This cruise of Canary Islands is better suited for it of the Mediterranean Sea in winter.

ツアーについて

ツアーは(株)ジャンボツアーズの「大西洋の楽園　常春カナリア諸島と地中海５ヵ国クルーズ１５日間」です。

コストパホーマンスが高いので気に入りました。

利用したMSCクルーズは大衆向けで、地中海ではイタリアを拠点にしている

冬の地中海のクルーズには温暖なカナリア諸島があります。

What did I want to this tour?

First I wished to experience in a Cruise trip.

I wanted to see Casablanca and the Atlantic islands that marked the beginning of the Age of Geographical Discovery.

I expected to enjoy a free walk after sightseeing of each anchorage site.

I wanted to contact with many people that were visited from the world in the Cruise ship.

私がこのツアーに求めたもの

一番はクルーズを経験したかった。

カサブランカと大航海時代の端緒となった大西洋の島々を見たかった。

各寄港地の観光後に自由散策を楽しみたかった。

クルーズ船内で世界中の人々と触れ合いたかった。

When we got off the airplane and got on various buses separately, the lobby that we arrived at varied and parted from our tour conductor.

We went voluntarily to the departure lobby and freed safely after all.

This castle encountered reconstruction and destruction many times, and the area came less than 1/4 of the original.

A side length of the outer wall is approximately 200 m.

About Milan

Milan began to prosper since the 14th century when the founding father of the Milan principality had made this castle.

This developed as a center of the economy in northern Italy.

At the end of 15th century of the Renaissance period, Leonardo da Vinci was invited in here, and Milan’s art became more popular.

Since the latter half of the 16th century, Milan will be ruled in succession by various empires.

ミラノについて

この地が栄えるのは、ミラノ公国の建国者がこの居城を作った１４世紀からです。

ここはイタリア北部の経済の中心として発展した。

ルネサンス期の１５世紀末、レオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチが招聘され芸術が盛んになった。

１６世紀後半から、様々な帝国に相次いで支配されることになった。

There is a room of ceiling where Leonardo da Vinci painted green of trees all over, and it is in the process of repair.

Bring peace to the Middle East! 1: At the start

中東に平和を！　１：　はじめに

Our world is really amid bigconfusion now.

It is a far-off incident as for Japan, but the dispute occurring in the Middle East becomes more serious.

The disaster will spread to not only the West but also the world soon if it is not addressed immediately.

How should we confront the dispute of the Middle East?

今、世界は混乱の真っ直中にあります。

日本にとっては遠い出来事ですが、中東で起きている紛争は深刻さを増しています。

放置すれば災厄は欧米だけでなく、やがて世界に拡大するでしょう。

私たちは、中東の紛争にどう向き合えば良いのでしょうか？

What is the problem?

By civil war, a vast amount of human life and property continue being lost, the environment and economy continue to be destroyed.

Enormous refugee occurred, and the confusion spread to the area accepting the refugee.

The causes of the conflict increased rather than decreased, and it came to spill all over the world.

Discrimination and hatred spread, and the world is being tormented by uneasiness, and the world cooperation system may collapse before long.

If this did happen, each countries become exclusive and iron hand, and have a much better chance to retreat and collide.

This is similar to the world headed for World War II.

何が問題か

中東の戦火により莫大な人命と財産が失われ、環境と経済が破壊されています。

膨大な難民が発生し、難民の受け入れ先でも混乱が広がっています。

紛争の火種は減るどころか増え続け、世界中に飛び火しています。

差別や憎悪が拡散し、世界は不安に苛まれ、やがて協調体制は崩れるでしょう。

そうすれば各国は閉鎖的で強権的になり、後退と衝突へと向かう可能性が高くなります。

これは第二次世界大戦へと向かったことに似ています。

I cannot see the sign of the convergence at all.

In war between nations once, they would have begun discussion for agreement to end the war if the disadvantage became remarkable.

However, the dispute in the Middle East transcends national borders, a lot of unidentifiable armed groups is concerned with it, furthermore the military aid by plural large countries accelerates the confusion.

The prolonged dispute makes the society that disorder and hatred prevail in, and would push our world at last into a society where crime and violence spread over.

Now I think that radical coping is necessary, but do not know how I understand the present conditions.

まったく収束の兆しは見えません。

かつて、国家間の戦争では、劣勢が顕著になると終戦協議が始まりました。

しかし、中東で起きている紛争は国境を越え、正体不明の武装集団が多数関わり、さらに複数の大国による軍事援助が混乱に拍車をかけています。

長引く紛争は、無秩序と憎悪をはびこらせ、ついには世界を犯罪と暴力が蔓延する社会へと突き落とすことになる。

今こそ、抜本的な対処が必要だと思うのですが、現状をどう理解してよいかわからない。

On the other hand, how do knowledgeable persons see Middle East conflict?

A  “What Went Wrong?” by Bernard Lewis.

He is a famous American scholar about Mideastern history.

In this book, he explains that the backward predisposition of the Islamic world brought the slump and dispute of the civilization.

B  “ The United States cannot beat the extremist organization IS” by Osamu Miyata.

He is an Islam researcher in Japan.

In this book, he explains that the Middle East conflict occurred by the intervention of Britain and France, and next America.

C  “THE GREAT THEFT” by Khaled Abou El Fadl.

He is an American Islamic jurist.

In this book, he explains that Islamic extremists deviate from original Islam, and are abusing the jihad.

These opinions of knowledgeable persons all over the world are various, and I cannot see the truth.

I want to close in on the truth of the Middle East conflict, Islam and Arab from now on.

一方、識者は中東紛争をどう見ているのか

A　バーナード・ルイス著「イスラム世界はなぜ没落したか？」

彼は米国の著名な中東史研究家で、この著書で、イスラム世界の後進的な体質が、文明の低迷と紛争をもたらしたとする。

B　宮田律著「アメリカはイスラム国に勝てない」

彼はイスラム研究者で、この著書で、中東紛争は初期に英仏、後に米国の介入が招いたとする。

C　カリード・アブ・エル・ファドル著「イスラムへの誤解を越えて」

彼は米国のイスラム法学者で、この著書で、イスラム過激派は本来のイスラムから逸脱し、ジハードを悪用しているとする。

世界の識者の見解も様々で真実が見えない。

これから、中東紛争、イスラム教とアラブの真相に迫りたいと思います。

The itinerary is 1-15, March 2016.

We attended a tour by Japanese travel agency, and boarded Cruise ship MSC Fantasia.

This cruise left Genoa and went around 7 ports, 5 countries, for 12 days.

私達夫婦は初めてクルーズに行って来ました。

寄港地とクルーズの体験を紹介します。

今日は、この旅行の概要です。

旅行は２０１６年３月１日から１５日です。

ツアー会社はジャンボツアーズで、クルーズ船はＭＳＣのファンタジアです。

クルーズはジェノバを出て、１２日間かけて一周します。

We tried various things because this cruise had all-day voyage 4 times.

4,400 passengers and 1,600 crews from all over the world were boarding on the same ship, and there were various encounters there.

このクルーズには４回の終日航海日があり、色々挑戦しました。

船には世界中から訪れた４４００人の乗客と１６００人の乗員がおり、様々な出会いがありました。

There was the sightseeing on our trip back home.

We enjoyed a market and a night view by one bus for approximately two hours.

A local guide and a tour conductor accompanied us.

今回で、この旅行記を終えます。

カタールのドーハを紹介し、感想を記します。

ドーハ観光

今回のツアーは、往復共にドーハ乗り継ぎ約４時間の待ち時間がありました。

帰りのドーハで市内観光がありました。

私達は１台のバスで市場と夜景を約２時間楽しみました。

添乗員と現地ガイドが同行しました。

The sightseeing was at 9:00-11:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 5, 2015.

ドーハ空港に着くと、直ぐに観光に出ました。

観光したのは２０１５年９月５日、土曜日、夜９～１１時頃です。

The whole was clean as after remodeling it.

This place was full of a tourists and local people.

It was hot, but I did not feel uncomfortable.

We only looked at the market as it was big.

The main goods were miscellaneous goods, clothing, and accessories.

The stores of jewelry looked like high-class.

We went around the large gulf area by bus, and we saw there the scenery that didn't seem a desert.

Elegant residences, luxury hotels and high-rise buildings, and mysterious buildings were emitting colorful light.

I was able to realize an Arab night in the Middle Eastern a second time since visiting to Cairo several years ago.

広大な湾をバスで巡ったのですが、砂漠とは思えないような景観がそこにはありました。

瀟洒な邸宅群、高級ホテルや高層ビル、風変わりな建築物が多彩な光を発していました。

数年前のカイロ以来, 中東アラブの夜を実感することが出来ました。

Impression of this trip

My wife chose this trip, but I could obtain wonderful things beyond expectation.

* I could feel the history of the Balkan Peninsula and the civil war of the former Yugoslavia in my bones.

* I could touch the nature, scenery, and people of the Balkan Peninsula and the Adriatic Sea.

* I could realize the refugee issue accidentally.

旅を終えて

今回の旅行先は妻の希望で選びましたが、私には予想以上に得ることがあった。

＊     バルカン半島の歴史、旧ユーゴの内戦を肌で感じることが出来ました。

ヨーロッパの火薬庫と呼ばれた理由は千年にも及ぶ東西大国の支配の後遺症でした。

そして同じ民族の出自でありながら宗教や言語の違い、経済格差が介在して対立が深まっていった。

＊     バルカン半島やアドリア海の自然と景観、人々に触れることが出来ました。

沿岸部は自然の産物が少ないが、観光資源が恵みをもたらし、人々はそれを満喫していた。

＊     偶然にも難民問題を実感することになった。

中東の難民がバルカン半島を通過し、ヨーロッパは混乱を始めた。

このようなことは人類史に幾度もあったが、現代でも起こることに驚かされた。

これは元を正せばバルカンと同じように、かつての欧米諸国の中東への干渉が一因です。

＊     初めて利用した旅行会社ジャンボツーアズの良さを確認した。

低価格でありながら観光内容は良い、ホテルや食事はそれなりだが。

利用航空が少し不便だが、仕方なし。

I touched the people of the former Yugoslavia that are living brightly, and then I was impressed with the marvel that people got back peace from the bloody civil war.
